Another positive about Roofing sheets is that they are lightweight and easily transported.
Roofing sheets were very common in industrial, agricultural, storage and warehouse buildings. The choice to have corrugated roofing sheets was largely popular as a result of its rot proof and rust proof qualities. For this reason roofing sheets have become more and more popular everyday for homes.
The British standard of roofing sheets is 3" pitch with a profile depth of 3/4". It has an effective cover width of 990mm. They are available in galvanized roofing sheets, polyester painted or plastic coated roofing sheets and can be cut to fit any sized roof.

Anti Condensation Roofing Sheets
Anti Condensation roofing sheets are a special fleece membrane applied to the underside of steel sheets during manufacture. The membrane consists of a large number of interlaced PES fibres. Anti Condensation roofing sheets work by absorbing condensation (One metre will absorb up to 1 Litre of water) when outside temperatures fall and then slowly release the moisture back into the atmosphere when the temperature raises during the day.
Anti Condensation roofing sheets have several other advantages as they are supplied ready to fit and don't require the purchase of any additional materials such as Plywood, felt etc. Anti Condensation roofing sheets when once applied also give additional sound insulation thereby reducing the noise of rainfall and hail.
Anti Condensation roofing sheets can be very helpful as condensation on uninsulated roofs is a major problem on all buildings large or small and can cause both considerable damage to the contents below and inconvenience to its occupants.

Rooflights
GRP Fiberglass (also called glass-reinforced plastic) are a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. Although strength properties in GRP fiberglass are somewhat lower than carbon fiber and it is less stiff, the material is typically far less brittle, and the raw materials are much less expensive.
GRP fiberglass bulk strength and weight properties are also very favorable when compared to metals, and it can be easily formed using molding processes.
GRP fiberglass' use for roofing applications provides for a much faster installation and due to the reduced weight manual handling issues are reduced. With the advent of high volume manufacturing it is possible to construct GRP fiberglass brick effect panels which can be used in the construction of composite housing. These panels can be constructed with the appropriate insulation which reduces heat loss.
GRP Fiberglass Rooflights are often designed to work in conjunction with box profile, tile effect and traditional corrugated steel roofing sheets and also with fiber cement roofs.
Most commonly GRP fiberglass rooflights are produced prime grade A GRP material, made to Class 3, and a weight of 2.44kg per square metre which is ideal for all agricultural purposes and industrial and domestic buildings.
